| Although not all support timbers were rotten, they were all replaced. We used pre-treated timber supported by concrete blocks. Any remaining and visible timber was treated with 'Metalex' - a timber preservative. It is dark green stuff - you can see it here where the timber is darker. 50mm of polystyrene slabs used right around house - toasty! |
