The PSSAs Have Become Another Outlet For Feminist Propaganda! | ||||
| Every year, certain grades in my school have to take this stupid ass test. It basically determines whether or not certain teachers keep jobs, and how much money the school gets for buying new supplies. The better we do, the more money they get. So they really stress how we should all pass with flying colors and other garbage like that, just so they can get more money and keep their jobs. That's all the test is pretty much. It takes a week to do the whole thing, and we take tests on reading and math. But I'm not here to complain about having to take the tests, 'cause it's all easy. No, I'm here to talk to you about something much worse. I was taking the last reading test today, and the article we had to read was about the first female doctor, Elizabeth Blackwell. I read the article, and starting answering the questions and notice something horribly wrong with one of them. Here's the question and the possible answers: The way in which Blackwell was accepted into medical college indicates that A. admission into medical schools was becoming more difficult. B. attitudes were changing about the idea of women doctors. C. people tend to reward great ability and strong effort. D. important changes are sometimes accidental. Notice anything wrong? No? Well let me tell ya what exactly IS wrong with this particular question and it's answers. The article said that Elizabeth got into the one medical school because she knew a big, money-contributing doctor who was looked upon with great respect at the college. He gave a ton of money to this school, and when she writes her letter to the college asking for acceptance, this big-shot doctor signs his name for recommendation. Seeing the name of the doctor in the letter, the dean of the school thinks some things through. Not wanting to lose a vital, money-donating partner, he calls all the students together. He then holds a meeting asking the students of the school whether or not they should let a woman into their learning facility. All the men said yes, and The Dean was up shit creek. He had to accept her now, and that's just what he did. Now, back to the question. Notice the question, and then look at the answer choices. Now are you noticing the problem? No? Well, since you're so slow, I'll explain it to ya. It doesn't give the right answer to the question! The right answer would be: F. that anyone can get anywhere if they know the right people It's trying to make you think she worked her ass off for her to get accepted. NOOOOOO. All she had to do was get some hot-shit doctor to sign his name to the letter and BOOM, instant acceptance. The writer of the goddamn article is a feminist obviously. Every sentence talked about how "this woman was the first woman doctor and had to overcome many obstacles." NO SHIT. Anyone that is the first to do something of their sex, race, or creed usually has a hard time. But they achieve goals by hard work. This bitch got accepted 'cause she knew the guy that pumped money into the college's ass. I guess it really just goes to show that you really don't need to work hard for anything in life. Just drop a few names at the right time and you can get whatever you want. Gah, people make me sick. I hate the way the author made it seem like she was accepted because she was some kinda hard working, holier-than-though being that got accepted through pure talent. Goddamn, why can't women ever be satisfied with what they have? If they aren't doing everything a man is doing, it's "sexist." Yet, when we suggest they get a job when they don't have one, they get all pissy about how they have enough work to do at home and couldn't possibly have the time to do a job. FUCK YOU. Make up your goddamn mind. That's the problem. They never know what they want. Blah, I'm getting of the point. All women are whores that can't make up their mind and think they can get whatever they want just because they are woman. There, I think that's what my point was. If not, then that's a better one. EMAIL me if you wanna tell me of any more feministic plans of evil, or if you have an opinion on this article. Back to Home Page |
