Just another example of how the left hates America.

"I really miss being home. Some of the American public have no idea how much freedom costs and who the people are that pay that awful price. I think sometimes people just see us as nameless and faceless and not really as humans. ...A good portion of us are actually scared that when we come home, for those of us who make it back, that there will be protesters waiting for us and that is scary." This was written by Jason Gilson, 23-year-old veteran who served in Iraq, wrote while in Iraq.
The liberals provided for him his fear in every respect.
While marching in Seattle's Bainbridge Island's 4th of July parade, Gilson was boo'ed at, hissed at, called a murderer, and a baby killer, by an agressive crowd.
It is here, on the same parade route, that a pro-John Kerry parade was cheered while John Kerry signs waved.
While marching, a female parade announcer even approached him, and sarcastically asked him, "And what exactly are you a veteran of?"
What does Kevin Dwyer, executive director of the community's Chamber of Commerce, have to say about all this? "I believe (Jason's) mom when she said her son was called 'a murderer'. But I'm sure the it wasn't so much directed at the kid as it was the President. A soldier with a sign represents that."
Excuse me, Dwyer? First of all, he is not a kid. He is a soldier in our military fighting forces, and has indeed done much more in his thus far short life than you've done in your comfortable one. Secondly, as this politician points out, libs think of soldiers and people risking their lives every day for our freedom as evil, baby-killing political representatives. Case closed, Kevin.
Here in old Virginia, we do not allow such mockery to stand. We are proud of our fighting men and women in our armed forces. I'm not sure how things are done in Dwyer's parts, but that sort of trash just isn't tolerated here. And if it should happen, we make sure to stop it immediately, not try to play it off as an incident involving a protest of the President instead of some 'kid'.
This is just another example of how the left hates America, folks, like it or not. That is why the liberals must be defeated in November.
As for our men in women in the armed services, I'd like to say that most of us do not feel the same way that these left-wingers do. We are proud of you, and recognize the sacrifice that you have given to us. For this you can not be repaid in full. We offer you the honor, respect, dignity and love you all deserve.
