Maui, Hawaii is one of the most incredible vacation spots in the world. In my opinion, this great Polynesian gem is only rivaled in beauty by the Gold Coast of Australia. ...and that's being kind to the Aussies.
Even though I'd gladly go to Maui just for the Hell of it, I was actually there for a Martial Arts Seminar held by the founding family of Kajukenbo (American Karate). This seminar, hosted by living karate legend Professor Adriano D. Emperado, was a total 24 hours of intense training and sharing in techniques incorporated from such disciplines as Jujitsu, Thai Kickboxing, and several styles of Kung fu.
For more info on Kajukenbo, or martial arts in general, check out the official Griffin's Judo & Karate Website. |
