1980 Chevy El Camino    #56
I bought this 80 El Camino on 06-25-04.  It had some electrical problems that needed to be addressed.  I noticed there was not power to the coil and the starter solenoid was disconnected.  I ran jumpers to them and started it up.  Rigged the fuel system till I got it home and had the electrical system repaired in 20 minutes.  It runs great and I am super pleased with it.  Sold Dec 04 for $1600.

84 Chevy El Camino    #54
I bought this 02-10-04 with plans to fix it up.  It had a burned up turbo 350 trans and I started putting in a used 700r4 I had laying around.  I abandoned it for other projects and sold it at a small loss to buy other items I needed.
74 VW Bug    #46
I bought a 2000 Ford Ranger that had been wrecked har in the front end for $300 but it still drove.  I traded it even for this bug.  It was running and driving and in fairly good shape except for a rotten interior.  I let it sit for 3 months and then sold it for $650.

Yep, another of those "what am I doing with this car" cars.  I had bought an 81 Fiat 124 Spider 2000 and my friend really wanted it (poor man) so he offered to trade me one of his Mercedes for the Fiat.  So I did.  It ran fairly well and It was kinda cool driving around in it.  I sold it 3 months later for $400.
90 Ford T-bird  3.8l V6    #32
I got this from a kid I worked with at Solectron in exchange for my 80 Caprice Classic.  It had a bad starter and a broken drivers side window and it barely ran.  I installed the starter he bought and I bought the window and after a tune up it ran like a new car.  Some people really neglect proper maintenance.  I drove it for 3 months and traded it back for the Caprice and $500.
84 Datsun 300zx Turbo T-tops    #35
I bought this car for $700 in fall of 2000.  It had taken a bath in 7 foot of water and the electronics were funky but it drove well and had lots of power.  I was going to fix it up till the front passenger wheel came off 2 months after I bought it and screwed up the fender when it fell.  I decided to get rid of it and sold it 2 months later for $650.
