| My first motorcycle. It was dark blue, all the aluminum and chrome pieces were painted black and dark blue and had 9000 miles on it in Jan 95 when I bought it. I had $350 in it and it did not run. I bought a used ignition box from a motorcycle shop for $80 and it cranked up. I took it piece by piece to the sandblasting cabinet in my shop at Motorola and cleaned it up then painted the pieces at home. I sold it for $1000 after I laid it down in 99 after I found a pile of sand on the road. I sold it because it never did ride right afterwards. I will have another. Hopefully a Virago 1100. |
