Going beyond the first door to this Alleinangstia, goddess of pain, Savuud, Tamil, and Yanni find a couple corpses of The GoldHoard Grubbers in the first chambers. Bypassing many of the rooms, the three fools made their way quickly towards what appeared the main chamber. On the other side of that door, you found a nealy-skeletally thin woman, yet alive, strapped onto a hideous looking pyramid rack with 5 leathery vulturish-chicken creatures pecking away at her. Yanni threw a lightning bolt at the Chickens of Death (CoD) frying a couple of them badly and blasting open the chains and straps holding the lady down in the process. At the same time, Tamil quickly grabbed the weird tribal mask and crystal sitting on stands. In a fierce, frightening few moments, this woman that seems barely alive suddenly gives off an incredible aura of power, and the three fools know then that they’ve done something incredibly stupid! As Yanni states, "All the hells broke loose" and TAMIL POOPED ‘EM! Yanni, nearly losing an eye to this suffering goddess whip, was an eager participant with the other two in making maximum haste towards the exit, as tortured cackles follow behind you which filled your dreams in the nights to come.

After locking and barring as many doors as you could, you rested in the main chamber for a night, everyone feeling a wee bit better, but nonetheless, terrified. Early in the morning, Ehzahl did a few stone shapes on the huge dropped stone wall, and then you had an outlet. Leena was quick to walk in. She had been blipped by the purple undead guy to the other side of the high hill into a cell. Her captors being ogres, she escaped and left one big charred barbecue behind. She told the rest of you how there was some big village of orcs, ogres and hill giants not far to the west. Not soon thereafter Valeska walked through the opening as well talking of her visit to this place many, many years ago and how it was once a glorious place.

Leena wanted to explore a bit after hearing the three fools’ story. After a while she is convinced this Pain Goddess, who had now visited her in visions and dreams, has caused her to lose all contact with her god, and must return to Strea-Tarl as soon as possible to atone and regain contact. So then Ehzahl, Leena, and the animated Lord Gregor’s remains teleported back to Strea-Tarl, while Savuud, Yanni, Tamil, Valeska, and Callie remained.

Now with an escape hole, and emboldened by nothing in particular, the group decided to head back in to the other half of the tomb, the half where Tamil found his new colors. Savuud investigated the statue at the end of the hall, and convinced it held the key to Lord Gregor’s treasure, worked on a plan. With the rest of the group assisting, Savuud tried a few tests, narrowing avoiding acid early on, but sadly, the next test suddenly animated the statue with a huge sword, and his head was chopped clean off!

After a VERY short discussion, the three god releasers, Callie, and a headless Savuud (head in a bag) decide to scram and beat feet for this wizard guy that Tamil talked about in such detail. Tamil claimed that this wizard could remove a curse from his dagger and could possibly grant other favors. Like reattach Savuud’s head.

Leaving the city, you found the remaining members of The GoldHoard Grubbers petrified near the city edge. Eager to leave medusa, and newly freed gods behind… you double timed it for a a couple of days.
