The Avuviir family claims a nation

It is a fine morning. A crisp, autumn wind blows through some redwoods as they shed leaves from high above. Winter is coming. You all are here--at the outskirts of Ballenthus, the greatest city in the northeast of Etara. A chaotic crowd of people, horses, wagons and supplies, are all slowly lining up to some commanders shouts and gesturing. Everyone who is anyone in the quest to reclaim the old nation is here. Naturally Savuud’s grandfather, Dan-shal Azuviir, the Leader and believed rightful heir to the throne is here. Savuud’s mother is here, looking curiously from one of the several wagons. Savuud’s father, uncle, aunt and cousins are all accounted for, prancing around on their impatient horses, ready to leave.

Other prominent families that have joined the cause, nobles having contributed much of the wealth, resources and manpower. You all recognized most of these nobles, whether from the months of small group strategic meetings, or from the larger gatherings to where settlement issues were discussed.

There are well over 200 soldiers here, 50 of which ride medium war horses with barding and tabards of the Azuviir blue and gold. The Wizards Council, a group of eight, calmly sit atop their riding horses, waiting patiently for all to fall into place. The lawyers, their aides and scribes cause half of the confusion, dragging chests and boxes from the town to various wagons, all whining, wondering about the safety of their materials for the upcoming journey. Eventually a rank is formed, some soldiers divided to the front and rear to protect the wagons and supplies while a few ride on the flanks for additional protection. Your journey has begun.

Two months later, a sore butt would say worse for the wear, but the caravan itself is very well. Strea-Tarl is in sight, and everyone is most pleased. Before you even reach the city, a small group of the city patrol is there to escort you. Expected to arrive within the week, accommodations have been already made by the Court administrator. Cramming everyone into two large inns in the southern ward of the city, the rest of the week is used for information gathering and last second strategy changes to the case.

Welcome to Strea-Tarl.
