Quest for a Corpse (cont.)

In control of what you needed to get, Ehzall, Valeska and Callie all were interested in getting out of the tomb first, possibly to return tomorrow, once everyone had recovered and been recovered. But, Tamil wanted to check out some urns in enclaves down the other hall, just had to nibble off more than he could chew. Alas, some darts and liquid, drippy goop found their mark as Tamil fell to the ground, poisoned! Callie scooped him up with a little of Valeska’s healing approval. Tamil recovered from his poisoning but alas, the poison must have changed chemical balance over the hundreds of years and now his upper body’s flesh had turned black, and his lower body entirely silver colored. Now, appearing quite the tattooed freak, Tamil was upset to say the least, but his love for treasure would push him (and many of you) onward.

The remainder of the group then agreed to get the heck out of there. They saw a neat trip-line that hadn’t been there before, and cackled gleefully to The GoldHoard Grubbers, "You’ll have to do a LOT better than that to catch us off-guard!"

The GoldHoard Grubbers reply—the Warrior stepped out holding a bound and unconscious Savuud by the feet in one hand and growled, "I think we be doing okay actually."

Eventually, your group groveled and whined enough to get Savuud back, along with his sword that wasn’t there before. With the animated Lord Gregor hauling Savuud, you all managed to get back to the first main chamber of the tomb.

While Ehzall went and checked that trapped area Leena had been in, the rest waited. He noted that some violence had taken place here. And so you from there you all went up the stairs and to freedom—or not. The crushing stone noise you heard when the door of the final crypt creaked open must have been this… a massive stone wall landing on the steps, blocking your way to freedom.

Conversation took place, and the decision made to spend at least a day looting and exploring and looking for others within the tomb. Ehzhal agreed since somebody had to memorize stone shape anyway to get past the wall. Valeska, bored with the non-stop looting, went and read some words in a small prayer chamber, and like Tamil, Leena, AND The GoldHoard Grubbers … disappeared. After pulling stuff out of the main burial chamber, Tamil, Savuud, and Yanni determine that The GoldHoard Grubbers went through the mystery door (the pain side), and didn’t why they shouldn’t too.
