Meeting the new Lord

After the fiasco I like to call ‘The Negotiations’, you all went to the campground and regrouped (and woke up the lazy Sylgen). Judas mentioned that someone at his Lord’s castle may be able to raise Tamil, and also that you were all invited to a celebration for your assistance (and others as well) in retrieving the ancient Lord Gregor’s corpse. Hearing that there would be a splendid feast, Sylgen was in, and other than Valeska, who was still all up in a tizzy, no one had any problems with a feast and celebration.

Within a day and a half, you arrived at the castle and learned that there was to be a feast that night, and for now there was a free for all happy hour until then. Curt Abagin was there, along with his whole group and another adventuring group of dwarves and humans.

There was a fantastic little happy hour, and then a giant feast in your honor. Prior to the feast, Findel and Judas brought Tamil’s corpse to another chamber. It was here that one of the formerly deceased Rulers brought Tamil back to life. Still with his wooden leg, and still 2 toned, he was surprised and happy to be alive.

However at the feast, where you all met the fabled Lord Soth, you gradually noticed that he was actually rather skeletal. His council you all had a hand in assembling, as the council were all living, breathing Rulers from times long past, raised. Oh wait, raised as undead. This isn’t good. Regardless, their illusions fool the bulk of the party and there was quality food and drink to be had. You also noticed the bad-ass Time god tomb skeletal warriors around the area, illusioned as High ranking human soldiers.

Lord Soth invited any who desired to not only name something that they’d like for their efforts in the ruler reclamation, but also that he’d be honored if any would like to assist in taming the island he wished to claim as his own. During the ensuing celebration, Valeska left the celebration, gathered her gear and tried to leave. Though told that such action was not acceptable, she bribed the human guard with a small gemstone, and left the castle and undead, behind.

The next morning, after a fine breaking of the fast, adventurers from many groups gradually went to the main party chamber and awaited their turn with Lord Soth and his advisors, to name their desire. Sylgen, wolfing down his breakfast, headed up the line. A few places farther back, Nitly awaited his goods. Near the middle of the line, Findel(la) thoughfully stands, waiting.
