Act One: Learning the Hard Way
Shepherd Remington believes he's seen it all. Smarter than most people, Sheph hates the fact a majority of the world is either ignorant or plain stupid to the finer things in life. Joining Orpheus in hopes of finding both an escape from a dismal life at home, and a challenge in a world quite different from most, Sheph is starting to realise he may have bit more than he could chew.

Learning he could save earth-bound spirits and bring them to salvation has awakened an unexpected side of Sheph. He can clearly see the importance of helping these things move on. But will he be willing to do it for those whom he has hated all his life?

Act Two: We Are Not Alone
They took away his life.
Shepherd Remington became a fugitive on the run. Forced to abandon the life he had tried to build with the destruction of Orpheus, he became sullen and angry. The distance between himself and his Crucible became wider as time passed. His death at the hands of Bishop only made matters worse.

As a ghost, Shep depended more and more on his Spite to fuel his powers against the challenges he faced. The botched mission to rescue the students of Burgoyne Academy left him with the Specters and trapped with his Stains fully manifested. Strangely, they ignored him. But his shadow, coaxed into existence by Bishop, tormented him for several days until he was rescued.
Though he had left the school behind, his experiences there have changed him.

Act Three: Ne Me Mori Facias
Pushed at all sides by pressure from the crucible, Shep finds himself finding a center when he reunites himself with his mother after years of hating one another. Though he loses his Father in the process, the experience rekindles within Shep the urge to try to make a difference in a world filled with morons. Though teering too close to often to the razor's edge of Spite, Shep struggles to convince himself each day that the risk is worth the greater good.

Act Four: And the Holy Spirit
Angered by his seemingly inability to control his darker passions, Shep is a time bomb waiting to explode. Teethering between Spite and solace so often, some worry if one day Shep no longer stands among them and instead a horrific Spectre hides in silence. Though he has been taking more time focussing on himself, and his changes, Shep remains a key person in helping Andrew make decisions. If only he was around to do so.
