Act One: Learning the Hard Way
Annie Harper is the first spook the crucible actually saw in Orpheus, although at that time, none of them realised she already was a ghost. Annie Harper remains the leading source of information for the senior crucibles, although she has opted to keep this fact strangely secret from other crucibles. The reason for this is more of the fact she does not want others to correctly deduce the reason for her information font... the fact she investigates and infiltrates Orpheus' own files as a ghost.

Annie, like Tom, suspects that there are things being kept by the Orpheus administration and board from the projectors and operatives. And like Tom, she is determined to find a way to find out what. She misses being among the living so much, she's more afraid now of the fact that all those stories about the afterlife don't seem to exist after all.

Act Two: We are not Alone
Having discovered that ghosts like herself have a dangerous doppleganger out in the world, Annie Harper was forced to literally "kill herself" to rid her of the being that attacked family members and nearly destroyed lives in her image. She has begun to manifest abilities beyond any known Horror including using her flesh like a malleable canvas of sorts. Is she truly the Annie Harper the Crucible knows or has she become something else?

Act Three: Ne Me Mori Facias
With Annie becoming more and more accustomed to her abilities of changing her gauze, one cannot help but wonder exactly what Annie is. But when talk of her possibly being the unknown missing Shade, the though of her abilities being something borne out of a Horror makes others wonder exactly where do the Horrors come from. Of all the Horrors, her's seems the one that points the least towards humanity and their inventions. And no one else seems to have learned of them except her.

Act Four: And the Holy Ghost
Discovering even more and more uses of her strange Horrors, Annie begins to act more animalistic and instictive, adapting a responsive outlook to the world around her rather than forcing it to conform to her preferrences. Sensing the looming threat of the many Hives long unchecked, she scouts known Hive locations and uses her animal forms and companions to keep tabs on them. What she has begun to notice is definitely something she does not wish to accept.

Act Five: Alliances
Annie resurfaces in the Underworld, admitting to the crucible that she had long hidden from them connections with other Malfeans, creatures she had heard of back when she used to date Uriah Bishop. Now, she hopes to help them make a difference before the Grand Maw crashes into the world.
