Drusilla was born in London in the 19th century. She had two sisters and belonged to a Christian coal mining family.
She was gifted, as she had visions which allowed her to see the future. Her mother convinced her she was doing the Devil's work and that no human should have a power only God possessed. She was considered cursed and it was her power that caught the attention of Darla, a very powerful vampire in London. Darla pointed her out to Angelus, her companion who Darla had turned in the 18th century.
Drusilla became an obsession of Angelus' and he drove her insane by posing as a priest and convincing her she was Devil's spawn, as well as by murdering her entire family. She fled to a convent and, on the day she was to take her oaths, Angelus turned her.
She remained at Angelus and Darla's side, and around 1880, she took a particular liking to a young man named William. She turned him and together they travelled throughout Europe, completely in love.
In 20th century Prague, an angry mob attacked Drusilla and almost killed her. William, or Spike as he became known, saved her and took her to Sunnydale.
It was here in Sunnydale that she met her sire, Angelus, once again. Angelus had become Angel, once his soul was restored by Gypsies. A ritual involving Angel's blood restored Drusilla to her pre-Prague strength and soon after, Angel lost his soul and became Angelus again. He joined Drusilla, basically taking her from Spike. During the final battle between Angel and Buffy (the Slayer), Spike kidnapped Drusilla and fled Sunnydale, this being a part of the deal Spike made with Buffy in order to get rid of Angelus and win Drusilla back. Drusilla left Spike soon after and went to New York.
In New York, Drusilla turned Darla, who had been brought back to life as a human by the law firm, Wolfram and Hart.
Darla and Drusilla went on a killing spree and eventually were tracked down by Angel. Angel was killed in Sunnydale but Buffy's friends restored his soul and he was brought back from hell by Buffy's love for him. Angel set fire to Drusilla and Darla. Darla remained in the city but Drusilla fled. This is where her story hangs...
