Republicans and Democrates are so pathetically alike. It's just too bad that you can't tell either side that the other guy feels the same way. Why do they even call themselves "Republicans" or "Democrates" anymore? I feel it's about time to revamp the election system and find the mainstream politcal parties new names. My nomations are "Dumb" and "Dumber." And just like Jim Carey and Jeff Bridges, I'm not sure which side gets the honor of which name, but I would just like to let my suggestion be known.
Washington doesn't seem to realize that it's playing with peoples' lives here.
I don't care how much the high end tax bracket feels they're over charged... Their one or two percent is fucking up everybody else's lives. If Bush had the slightest foresight, he would have known that the tax break he gave the elite would have killed the rest of the economy, World Trade Center or no World Trade Center.
What did I ever do to them? Why must I ride on the whim of Washington politicians that have no feeling for me except when it comes time for election? I have nothing in common with these people, and any tax breaks they come up with won't effect me because I'm not even in their tax bracket.
Government. For the people, by the people. Theoretically, government was established for protection, but if you think about it, who is going to protect you from them? You cannot help that you were born within the national borders of any country, so why should you be forced to pay their taxes? I know for a fact that I've come accross more harm than good from my sovereign "protectors."
