It was at this point that ultimately reached the decision that I hate this game. This wasn't the first time I had experienced dislike of the game or its manufacturers... in fact, it had been going down hill. A thread on a message board I once read was part of my inspiration. It can be found here: "What Sony doesn't want you to know." If the link is dead, the basic gist of the thread was that Sony had given up on original EverQuest (even thought it raked in well over a million dollars a month) to move on to Star Wars: Galaxy and EverQuest 2. Sony had also been phasing out Customer Service for about a year.
Summing this disatisfaction with the game manufacturer to the immense time it has taken out of my life to the fact that my parents had been plaguing me to find a job to the neglect I have been showing towards Stephanie... I derived at the conclusion that anybody who would pay for such a life deteriorating game that was killing itself from within needs to have their head examined. Sure the game play is exceptional and the many worlds diverse, but the lack of Sony following through with the game compounded by the fact that *there is no ultimate goal in the game* creates all the reason to cancel your accounts.
So now my attempts to reclaim my life now begin with an application for a job at the local Wal-Mart Super Center and more effort put into my education at ITT, as well as spending more time with my once deprived family...
