Starting
out as enemies in Vol.1 do to Yasha's attitude and the fact that
Kagome resembles Kikyou (the dead girl he once loved) they have
moved along and developed quite an interesting relationship with
plenty of insults and "sits" to go around. The more
Kagome is around Inuyasha the more he begins to show a soft side that
even Kikyou had never seen. As the story progresses he becomes very protective of her,
and starts developing feelings that even now
he is unsure of. Kagome becomes very close to him as well *ignoring the
occasional bad attitude slips* and around Vol.15 (or so) realizes that
she has fallen in love with him. Its pretty obvious (especially
in some of the latest books) that Inuyasha feels the same for her,
but he is still unsure whether he wants to be with Kagome or Kikyou
in the end. Kagome knows & understands how Inuyasha feels about Kikyou,
but still gets jealous sometimes. At this point in the manga **Vol
22** the two are really...er.....well they have hugged and stuff like
that, but have not kissed (this bugs Kagome ^^;) I think its
going to be all up to Inuyasha and whether he wants to abandon Kikyou
in the end.

- Kagome is kidnapped by some evil dudes and just when her head is about to be
clopped off...

changes into a miko outfit resembling Kikyou's & Inuyasha is taken aback

After they are left alone IY wants Kagome to undress, but not the way she
thinks.
Act of kindness? - IY
offers Kagome his coat thingy to protect her from the enemy's hair * Kagome
got cut earlier*

name? - After Yasha defeats Yura he says, "lets go Kagome"
This is the first time he has ever used her name.

Inuyasha says something to Kagome and jumps back when she cries ^^ Makes up by
saying he will protect her.
