| This section is where I put all your questions about the show Ghostbusters. Here are nine of the more common ones. More will follow. |
| 1. Q: What is Ghostbusters, anyways???? A: You don't know? Shame on you! Just kidding. Ghostbusters was a 1986 cartoon from Filmation Associates. It's a sequel to a 1975 show called "The Ghost Busters", and most of the ideas from that show got put into this one, but with more modern tendicies. 2. Q: Who are the characters? A: The main Ghostbusters are Jake Kong Jr., Eddie Spenser Jr., and Tracy the Ape. Other characters were Jessica, Futura, Belfry, Madam Y, and Jake and Eddie's dads. The bad guy was Prime Evil, and he had a whole hoarde of ghosties, though it would take me a while to list them. 3. Q: What's the difference between this and "The Real Ghostbusters"? A: One, RGB was based off the movies. Two, RGB had different characters and weapons and stuff. Three, Columbia and DiC made RGB. There are lots of differences and the only thing that links the shows are the theme(Ghostbusting) and the name(Ghostbusters). 4. Q: Then if that's all true, why do people think FGB ripped off the GB movies? A: Because they're either ignorant or just stupid. Filmation owned the name since 1975. Columbia stupidly ripped off the title. 5. Q: How did the Ghostbusters get around since they didn't have the Ecto-1? A: The Ghostbusters had the GhostBuggy, which could talk, fly, go into water, and even travel through space and time! 6. Q: what was their mode of defeating the ghosts? A: The Ghostbusters had Dematerializers, although they also have the Specter Snare, the Ghost Gummer, and maybe a few others. I've heard they only have one Ghost Dematerilaizer, but from eps I've seen and art I've seen, I think they have one for EACH Ghostbuster. 7. Q: How many episodes were there? A: 65 episodes. Pretty good for a one-season show. 8. Q: why is there so much funny stuff going on? A: Because it's a FUNNY show. See, here's another problem with RGB nitpickers: They complain about how this show is off-the-wall. Well, that's how it's SUPPOSED to be. It wouldn't hurt that this show was based off a 70's comedy, you know. 9. Q: Why is there an ape on the team? A: See the previous question for that answer.
