REVIEW OF PAC-MANIA
THE STATS: System: Nintendo Players: 2(alternating) Levels/Rounds: 7 at first Continues?: Yes(Two) Main Character: Pac-Man Difficulty: in between average and difficlut. Learning curve: 10 minutes
Graphics: 8 Pretty nice visuals for a Nintendo game, although there doesn't seem to be a lot of detail in the drawings Sound: 9 This almost nabbed a 10. The sound effects are pretty good, but the Pac-Man death sound is too similar to Link's death sound in Zelda 1. Music: Some of the music is catchy, but the Sandbox Land level's music is annoying. The Jungly Steps tune is evil-sounding. Play Control: 7 You go awfully slow as the game starts, which can really mess up your timing. Pros/Cons of Pac-Mania: Pros: It's Pac-Man in 3D mazes! More ghosts, new Power Pills, and a JUMP Power! Cons: Some of the ghosts jump like you do after a few levels. Also, the Speedup Power pill lasts until you eat a regular pill and that expires. FINAL SCORE: 8 out of a possible 10 There's a few problems with this game, but most are hardly noticible. The in-between level cutscenes are kind of funny.
