This whole demo derby thing started when Brad decided to enter the Great Allentown demoderby of 2001'. His weapon of choice for this battle of shitty cars was an old Impala. He gave it his all but like everything else we tried. He failed miserably. At one point even knocking himself out for a brief period of time. But like any good man he kept the dream alive, He enter several more derbies across the great metropolis of schuylkill,berks,lehigh counties, with the exact same outcome. Complete and utter failure. But this brings us up to 2003 the year Jeff entered his first derby. His pile of shit was a 77' Nova Pictured below. After catching the Nova on fire (sorry no pictures) in his parents yard the time came for the big derby. He lasted approx. 3min and 25 seconds when a broken radiator hose ruined his shit. This brings us up to present day. Hopefully this year will bring some success. Brad procured a 76' Nova and Glenn has a 93'topaz for the small car and we still have the flaming 77'Nova already made famous, still runs great(dad get the garden hose ready). Amber, and Glenn are both slated to try their hand at demo greatness. Rest assured we will update this site as soon as the derby season begins. Because we do not fuck around. |
