if there is a god, i doubt (s)he would care much for any organized religion. rather than self-discovery and universal love, many religions, especially the monotheistic religions, teach rigid laws and have narrow-minded views. jesus taught that every man is equal in the eyes of god. yet, why does the catholic church have a hierarchal system? why aren't women allowed to be ordained priests? what was the reasoning behind the unnecessary conversions of native people all around the world? religion teaches us to respect eachother's beliefs- not to push your beliefs onto others.
i encourage people to form their own beliefs and opinions, and not always follow their church like sheep.
