How to Draw Demmy

A step by step guide. Don't worry, it's easy! ^_^

Step one:
Using a pencil draw a circle.

Step Two:
Draw your guide lines. The top horizontal line should be half way down the circle, and the one below it is half of that.

Step Three:
Add the eyes and a little circle for the nose. Made sure the nose is a little below and just touching the left eye.

Step four:
Draw the center of the eye, the curve of the face and a marker for the ear. Make sure the nose and chin line up. The curve of the face dips in at the eye.

Step five:
Fill in the eyes, add eye brows and mouth.

Step six:
Draw a hair line (where the hair grows out of the head), detail in the nose and ear, blacken the corner of the mouth, and add a neck and body line (which should roughly match up with the center head line and is curved as the arch of the back)

Step seven:
Draw in the bangs (note the top of your guide circle and the hair line). Draw in loose circles for shoulders, lightly sketch in the shirt following the curve of the body line.

The hair should be done in loose free lines. Try holding the pencil loosly and don't worry if strands of hair overlap--they should overlap. The bottom of Demmy's bangs covers the top of her eyes.

Step eight:
Draw in the T-shirt and her arms( arms are straight lines diagonal running off the shoulders). Sketch in the rough shape of the shooting star on her T-shirt. Sketch the outline of her hair, which falls just below her shoulders.

Step nine:
Draw in her hair with the same strokes you used on her bangs. Draw in the shooting star. Add Shadows and the fold in her shirt. And the shine in her bangs.

Step ten:
This is the final step and it may seem strange if you are not an artist and painfully obvious if you are. But here goes. Trace the whole thing over in ink and erase all your guide lines. Color if desired. And cheer. You're done! ^_^
