He has taught me how to be a better person. He has taught me what real love is and shown me how to love unconditionally with all my heart. He has shown me true strength in his battle to survive. And he has taught me never to take anything for granted. He has shown me what the world can be like when people truly care about each other. And how much love one little boy can generate in the world.

I hope to dedicate the rest of my life to helping others, not just those affected by Edwards Syndrome, but all those who need assistance in their daily lives. I am already working with the local maternity hospital to improve resources for new mothers receiving a prenatal diagnosis of T18. I am also part of an advisory board setting up a new online resource and support community for families affected by T18. Please visit us at: www.escribe.com/health/trisomy18/bb
I have just spent six months living and working in Peru, at a school for children with special needs such as Downs Syndrome and Autism. I am also hoping to go out to Africa next year to do some more volunteer work. In the future I hope to become a foster or adoptive parent for another special child. For each person I can help, a little bit of Connor lives on in the world. The rest of my life is dedicated to the memory of my precious son.
Thankyou so much for taking the time to read our story. Although you can never know how much my baby son means to me, I am glad to have shared a little part of his soul with you all. Much Love Demi Powell

Connor was everything I ever wanted rolled into one and I will miss him with all of my heart forever.
There are so many things that Connor has taught me and given me in his short time with us.
