| Setting: Minnowfield is a farming town that exists near the Great Estuary, on the southern coast. The year is 999 of the Second Age. History: In the year 2121 of the First Age, a race of beings known as 'demons' mysteriously appeared. A three year war began nearly bringing the humans to exctinction. But, the demons mysteriously vanished just as they had appeared. The day this happened was to be the last day of the First Age, thus beginning the Second Age. Nearly all technological advances up until that time had been wiped out by destruction. Humans started new, replacing guns with swords. First Age history was barely preserved by books of the past. Now: Times are fairly peaceful. Two great nations (Dekketo and Kimota) are divided by the Great River. Their leaders don't get along, and rumors of the demons returning have spread. |
