The wig was all white, and I took my straighting iron and straightened all the hair. That part took a while, and I had to be careful not to melt the hair. After that, it was like a long poofy white wig. ABSOLUTELY perfect for cats hair! The wig was long enough to be a Bombalurina or Rum Tum Tugger wig.
First I shaped the ear by grabbing a handful on top and tying a little knot at the top with floss. I made the ears really big, I probably could've made them smaller. After I did that, I Put it on my head and cut the hair the length I wanted it to be for Demeter.
Then to colour it, this part takes SO long, I probably could have dyed it or something, but I took Red, Black, Yellow and Orange permanent markers and took the hairs piece by piece and coloured it. It took the better part of 4 weekends to finish colouring the wig. You guys can probably think of a better way of doing it.
Well that's my wig. It's soooo cool! I can't believe it worked. For me, this is probably the cheapest way to make a wig, and takes way less time than like, stringing yarn and stuff like that. I'll have some pictures of it up soon, keep checking back!
