| Ok, I'm not a fan of Martha Stewart, I don't watch her show, I don't know a whole hell of a lot about her because in general, I don't care. Right now though, she's pretty fucked. The news is saying that she's going to prison for sure, we just don't know for how long. She's been convicted of four things: 1) Conspiracy 2) False statements 3) False statements 4) Obstruction of justice. Here's what gets me, everyone is going on and on about the fact that she lied. I wonder if we can think of anyone else, in a position of power, who lied, got caught, and a media circus ensued. Any guesses? | ||||||||||

| Martha Stewart is a tv personality, Bill Clinton was the President of the United States of America. Clinton blatantly lied, under oath, hundreds of times. He denied his actions time and time again. He was quicker to ask the defenition of the word "is" than just confess. What happened to him? His popularity increased! People gave him flattering nicknames like "Slick Willy", people said he was brave and looked up to him. He wasn't punished at all. He was an incompetent president whose actions were an embarrassment to this country. I don't mean just the Monica Lewinsky bullshit. He's done plenty of other things that he should be in prison for, but no, he's actually a respected man who people still admire and look up to today. | ||||||||||
| Martha Stewart has lied probably hundreds of times less than Clinton and she isn't the leader of an entire country, she's some lady who makes arts and crafts. Bill Clinton was the leader of an entire country whereas Martha Stewart is just a lady who teaches people to make dainty little sandwiches that can be enjoyed with a cup of tea without making a mess that might ruin expensive clothing. People are ready to throw her in prison for up to 20 years. I think, if she gets sentenced to serious time in prison, Bill Clinton should be arrested and left to rot in prison as well. He's a criminal. He's a lying, greedy, thieving criminal far far worse than Martha Stewart. He basically fucked the U.S. up the ass and he's a free man. Martha Stewart is a woman who makes sissy little doilies and cooks from time to time. She has no criminal record. She just made a stupid mistake and all of a sudden people are ready to crucify her. Before you judge Martha Stewart, think back to how you felt when Clinton got off the hook. Were you rooting for the slimy bastard? If so, you fucking better root for Martha Stewart too. Did you feel sorry for Clinton as he slobbered, and cried his way through a phony apology? You better feel sorry for Martha Stewart who kept a straight-face as the jury announced her guilt. Did you cheer when Clinton got away with his crimes? Then you better hope Martha Stewart doesn't have to go to prison. Why? Because if you condone Clinton's actions and his lack of punishment for his crimes yet still condemn Martha Stewart, than you are a fucking hypocrite and/or a dumbass. | ||||||||||
