The Monthly Theme is an activity run for the length of each month where member's create their interpretation of the month's "theme," which is usually a single word or a short phrase. The entry does not really have to be a doll, but most of us turn in dolls anyway ///_^
A Monthly Theme Showcase is picked for each week of the month. The staff chooses one doll out of the ones submitted that they believe best suits the theme, or that is really just too cute to pass up. The winners of the Showcase are displayed in WTM's Hall of Fame.

For my Chibi Persona I dolled myself as a little Lolita. I did versions both with and without the Bulgarian flag in the background. ///__^ This little cutie won the Monthly Theme Showcase for the Fourth Week of July. I didn't even know until halfway through August!

Ah, my favorite movie. I really can't say that I did this theme to specifications because I have way too many favorite movies to do them all. However, I chose to go with one of my more obscure favorites, Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within, and its character Aki Ross. Obscure, you say? Yep. With the exception of my best friend, every Final Fantasy fan I have ever met has hated this movie because they say "it has nothing to do with Final Fantasy." I whole heartedly disagree, and have actually composed an essay on the subject which I'll put up on my writing site once I get it all organized ///_^
