| The New Del Valle High School |
| Bergstrom AFB closed in 1993. The the base became the new location for Austin Bergstrom International Airport in 1999. Only two DVISD schools stayed in their original locations (Hornsby & Smith Elementary schools). The Berdoll family donated some of their land for the new schools on Ross Rd. Almost every school was rebuilt at new locations due to the new airport. (See list below) The "donut" adminstration building at BAFB is now the new Airport Hilton Hotel. Opened in 2000. The Berdoll family sold some of their land to KB Homes. The new subdivision is called, KB Homes-Berdoll Farms. Opened in 2001. |
