If you are in "The Hunt" campaign, you can NOT choose characters with technological skills. That includes thing like "Blaster", "Piliting", ect. Physical Description:

In this section, you will create the "stats" of your character. You have 18 points to spread around on your characters abilities. The abilities are the things like "Dexterity", "Perception", ect. The "abilities" will be highlighted with blue. Each ability should have at least 2 points, and no more than 4 points.
Under each ability there are "skills" for that ability. The skills are what the character has spent some time on learning. To improve a skill, check it. You are allowed to check 7 skills altogether. The skills will be highlighted red.

Remember to pick skills that make sense with the type of character you picked! Example: A bounty hunter shouldn't know how to use a light saber.
