Carolyn Clark was born on July 11, 1956 in Cincinnati, Ohio to John Henry and Mary Clark. She was the second of seven children born to the young couple.
    Carolyn was an estudious child, and was also active in her church - Beulah Missionary Baptist Church. Her church involvment included singing in the Mass Choir.
    Carolyn graduated from Robert A. Taft High School in 1974. She attended the University of Cincinnati, as well as Sawyer College. From her studies resulted certification as a Medical Assistant.
    Carolyn met Walter Gray in 1976. She and Walter married on June 26, 1982 in Cincinnati, Ohio. The couple, like many others, experienced ups and downs. However, they persevered and remained married until Carolyn's death.

    It was a brain aneurysm that led to Carolyn's death on Thursday, May 23, 2002 at University Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. Carolyn was remembered and buried on Monday, June 3, 2002 at United American Cemetary in Cincinnati, Ohio.
