This section is here just for my own venting. I'm sure that there are some of you who will certainly
identify with and agree with me on these things. If you can't identify, oh well... you don't have to read it if
you don't want to. *shrug*

So, the war has begun. Stupid people! Ok, I understand that they want Saddam out, but the US gov't are the ones who put
him into power in the FIRST PLACE! They say that there will be no civilian casualties, that they'll just kill the Iraqui
soldiers and whatnot, but when you're dropping bombs like crazy, who can tell WHAT you're hitting?! There are already a
lot of people injured and dead, and I just don't see how this could be justified. I suppose there are a lot of people who
see what I'm saying, seeing as there are thousands upon thousands of protests going on around the world today. There are 20 000
demonstrating on Jasper Ave in Edmonton alone! That's a lot of people, and I say all the more to them. The question is: what can
we do now that will actually make a difference, rather than just wasting our time marching up and down the streets of our
cities?
Also, while it may be very important to keep the public around the world up to date on the war, there are other things happening
in the world. I'm just so sick of every time I turn on the tv it being nothing but war. Just when I think I can escape it for
an hour the show I've been waiting for a week to watch is preempted by an "important update" on the war. Meanwhile, all they're
telling us is what they've told us 100 times already throughout the day! Leave us alone!
