| Raising funds for KI Chapter |
| Philanthropy Corner |
| In November - Members participated in the "Day of Caring" at Elder Beerman. The event earned money for the Mary Lou Barth Scholarship which goes to local collegiate women. (Mary Lou was a member of the Dayton Alumnae Chapter.) In December - Members brought in new unwrapped toys to be donated to an area YWCA. The turn out was wonderful, and no doubt these gifts will help make a child's holiday special. In March - Members brought clothing items to the DAPA style show. These items were donated to Clothes that Work. In April - Planters that were made were donated a local hospital in order to brighten a day. (See photo below). |
| In November, the annual Winter Auction Brunch was held at Christ United Methodist Church. Many members, guests, and collegiates were in attendance. Wonderful handmade crafts & goodies were donated by members to help raise money. Over $450 was raised at the event, and it will go to support the Kappa Iota chapter and the Alumnae chapter general operating budget. Special thanks to Marguerite, Dottie & Micki for being wonderful hostesses; Thanks to our auctioneer Angie! Great job everyone! |

| Support of the Style Show was great as usual. Delta Zeta's came to support the Panhellenic President, their own Lori C. (Pictured above left with the Panhellenic Style Show Chair) 11 tickets were sold, and donations raised over $125 for scholarships. Thanks to Missy G., Lori C. and a DZ Mom for making donations. It was a great event. Goodwill did the vintage style show, and Clothes that Work was there to collect donations. This was another great event, and we look forward to it next year! P.S. Lori is excited to take a little break! |
