UNTITLED (yoshiki x hide)

by elenity

Yoshiki lifted his arms and formed a cradle with his hands. His beautiful expression looked absent-minded while his eyes were lost in the distance. He waas surrounded by the short green grass of the field which had once been their playground. Now he cared about that no more, nor about him. If he waas there it was for another person, for somebody who had not broken his heart with painful words, somebody who had not run away from him shattering his illusions, somebody who had trusted him always, yes, always, his best friend… until that day Fate took him away.

During all this time he had asked himbself why, but he knew no acid voice would answer him. Not now. Never. Well, never does in fact mean forever, and nothing lasts forever.

He focused now on his hands, which were a cup filled with pink petals. Pink. Many remembrances brought that colour. He grimaced with pain, but only a second after he recovered and the soft and pleasant gesture came back. He sighed. His eyelids closed and his lips parted in order to let the air inside his lungs. Once filled, he blew softly. The petals flew away with a sweet caress along his fingers, but not too far. To his surprise, they slowered their flight until they stood still in the air forming a kind of human figure.

Yoshiki gasped for breath but his throat never seemed to obey his needs. He widened his eyes at what was happening before him… how on earth could that be possible? He had not believed the words the old woman had told him, hadn’t he. Now, if he hadn’t, then why was he there? Something flickered in a corner of his heart, and that made him know he DID believe it. Yeah, he wanted that more than anything, he’d even die for it, that’s why he had come.

Suddenly the petals got closer toghether and melted into a pinky mass. Yoshiki stood up but didn’t approach. His feet were chained to the ground. Although his eyes could’t go away from that _thing_, his mind was miles away, remembering the words taht old russian lady had whispered in his ear. The cold wind that hurled dead leaves against his delicate skin that day in New York was again there, making his hair fly furously.

"Nu, malchik. Sadness was not meant for you"

He turned immediately to face a little skinny old woman who was staring at him with dark intense eyes and a wise understanding. "W-what did you say?", he asked.

"Your wet eyelashes freeze in the night, and you were not born to end up drained in that way". She stepped forward and took his hand, caressing it with her wrinkled fingers. "Uh?", he managed to say. He had not the faintest idea who this woman was, and the thought that somebody completely unknown knew he, _HE_, still cried at nights got him almost knocked-out.

"Don’t look at me in that way, my malchik. You know, malienkii, you are tearing your beloved’s heart with your suffering". Her voice was becoming weaker and nearly inaudible, as if her strenght was drifting away from her already defeated body. "How- how do you know-"

"I know", she didn’t let him finish, "It has always been my job. But I am old and crumpled now, I never imagined someone could make my heart feel so wise again, able to talk to them after all this time". He still didn’t understand. "I- I-" She pulled slightly his hand, letting him know he should ben to hear her fainting voice.

"Jarasho, my malchik". Now his left ear was only a few milimeters separated from the withered lips. He felt uncomfortable and scared, but what he had heard didn’t let him other option than to stay where he stood.

"There is a place where some of your best moments flourished, but another one was there. This place is filled with your old feelings for that other person, who I see somehow broke your poor heart. You should turn those feelings into different ones, into the ones you have right now, and then the sadness flooding your beautiful eyes will stop drawning your heart. And you will smile again. There is enough energy in you, my malchik. Remember what reminds you of your love and use it as you feel like. Just remember that". With this, she released his hand, turned around, and walked away.

He stood there for some time, it could have been minutes or hours, he didn’t felt the tides of time, unable to think about anything but the words of the old lady, unaware of the freezing wind that dried and cracked his lips. He only embraced himself, put his cheek against his shoulder and let the tears melt with the wind.

The petals were on that spot no more. Instead, a pink-haired figure was lying over the grass. He blinked, shook his head and looked at the other man again. Unable to stand still any longer, he ran next to him and ducked.

"Hide. Hide. Oh, Hide, it’s you, Hide".

The man lay unconscious, his face just under his’. Yoshiki wrapped him in his arms and sheltered his face in his chest, biting his lower lip. He couldn’t avoid the tears that flowed from his eyes.

"Baka…", mumbled a sleepy voice, "you don’t let me breath". Yoshiki lifted his head and stared as the other man yawned. All his muscles tensed under Yoshiki’s bare arms, and that made him aware of the nakedness he was embracing. He blushed vividly, but didn’t let him go. Hide looked at the face he had above. Yoshiki’s features were as beautiful as he remembered. His ear-long hair brushed caressingly his face. He noticed tears rolling down his blushed cheeks, mixing with the blood pourng from his lower lip. The image made him think about the Rusty Nail cover, of which Yoshiki was so proud, but in this case the blue lipstick changed into a bloody red one.

"Ne, Yo-chan", he lifted a hand and wiped away the bloody tears from his smooth skin, "you crying for me? You were not such a crybaby before". Yoshiki narrowed his eyes, which for a moment shone with a fearsome glint. His lips formed a colourless line ready to rant and rave, but he had no time to start pouring sharpened words. Hide’s laugh and the kindness coming from his eyes softened his heart.

"Hide-kun, you always knew how to get on my nerves", he laughed. Hide’s face quietened, his eyes searched his’, and a sigh came out of his mouth. Yoshiki held his gaze and slowly the smile came off his lips, giving way to a deeper feeling. He shifted his sight from his eyes to his pink hair, to his eyes again, to his so well-known features, to that heart-breakingly familiar lips, and he shit his eyes.

"Yo-chan…", whispered Hide. Yoshiki only closed his eyes stronger, so strong he thought his eyeballs would pump inside his head. Suddenly, Hide’s hand slid through his hair and began playing with it, caressing his scalp.

Yoshiki’s heart broke down.

He opened his eyes, now two lakes pouring, and pressed his lips firmly against Hide’s. His taste was different from any other person, maybe it was because of the year he had been gone, maybe because of the blood which still covered Yoshiki’s lower lip. He pulled away. "I missed you so much", he sobbed. "I know, I know. Me too". Hide drew Yoshiki’s face closer again and kissed him, feeling the soft velvet-like lips warming his cold ones. The warmth, together with the fact that he had no clothes on, sent a shiver down his spine which settled in his stomach, then going down a little bit more.

He moved to a more comfortable position, hoping Yoshiki would’t notice his *small* problem… Damn it, of course he wanted him to notice! He managed to get his hands under Yoshiki’s thin black shirt and ran his fingers along back, his chest, his arms, feeling the nipples pebble at the featherly touch. Yoshiki moaned, and Hide slid his tongue between his parted lips. Yoshiki’s body trembled at the touch of their tongues and changed to lay over Hide. Hide was surprised to notice both of them had the same *small* problem, and smiled.

Suddenly, he opened his eyes in surprise. He saw Yoshiki had them alreasy open and was slowly rising an eyebrow. He lifted his head and Hide pulled two fingers inside his mouth, searching for something. When he found it, he stared at it with suspicion.

"Damn it, Yo-chan", he cried, "why do I have a pink petal inside my mouth?". Yoshiki tilted his head backwards and laughed, that beautiful smile of his shining with the daylight. Then he leant forward and brushed Hide’s right earlobe with his lips.

"Because I love you".

Hide took his face between his hands, gently caressing the pale skin with his fingertips, his forefinger drawing Yoshiki’s lipline. The feeling was almost killing him from pleasure. Then, he pulled him closer and kissed him passionately.

Notes on the text:That old russian granny was a kind of necroscope, you know, a person who can talk to the dead. Usually they can talk to them if they’re on the spot where they were buried, but in this case *ahem…* Yoshiki’s feelings were so strong that Hide contacted her through him. Also the lady says some words in russian. I translitered them because I don’t think your computer would support ciryllic, would it? So more or less they meant as follows (always better to ask a native and not a 3-year student *sweat*):

Nu --> well

Malchik --> boy

Malienkii --> little one

Jarasho --> ok, well done

Nyaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!! I finished my first fanfic ever in about two hours! Please don’t be too cruel with it, think that I’m new at this *tries to pout just like sugizo*. Yeah, I know the plot (uh, there is plot, isn’t there?) may have _blanks_ and all-that-stuff, and I didn’t let their hands touch anything down he waist (whahaaa!), but… well, I discovered the HUGE lack of adjectives and of everything that I have, you know, like "how on earth do I say this in english" o_O’ (big disadvantages of being spanish -part 247832) So, anybody tells me how it was? Some suggestion for the title? Any advice on how to improve? Should I keep trying to write something or should I better just forget the whole thing? Uh-uh, and of course SORRY for all my grammar mistakes.

Bwhahahawha!! I’m too sleepy by now *yawns* I can’t think about what I’m writing.

Venga, chao.
