The Board advises the City Council on matters regarding the golf course. Those matters include, without limitation, the operation of the course, improvements, maintenance and the promotion of golf in Pittsburg
The Board assists the Director of Golf in the development of a long range plan for course utilization, Promotion and Capital improvements or infrastructure. Also assists in budget development and budget control. Assists in establishing golf rates
The Board assists the Greens Superintendent in the development and maintenance of a long range plan for course maintenance, course improvements and equipment replacement/purchases. Also assists in budget development and budget control The Board Will do a customer satisfaction survey annually to help determine how services and course condition is rated as well as how both might be improved.
