Deposit 'Practice & Experience' in Your Account

Joining Delta Premier Toastmasters, is like opening a savings account. The more you put in, the more you can get out.  When you attend meetings, serve in a meeting role, give prepared speeches, participate in table topics, and serve as a club officer, you are making deposits into your 'account.'

If you are asked to give an opinion on a business or personal issue, you can withdraw some 'impromptu-speaking-experience' from your account.

What if you are asked to be the Speaker of a special meeting or event? No Problem! By giving prepared speeches, outlined in your Communication and Leadership manuals, you save an abundant amount of 'prepared-speaking-experience' too.

That's just the beginning! You can save a wealth of self-improvement and personal-development skills. But, you can only take out what you put in.
Take a look in your account - Do you need to make a Deposit?  ___________________________________________________________

* * IT'S GRAMMAR TIME * *

- When do you use may and when do you use can? -
The difference in the use of these words is between being
able (can) and being allowed or permitted (may).
      Examples:
Can you give me directions to the meeting?
May I use your telephone?   (may also denotes possiblity.)
- How do you use the words might and may? -
May expresses likelihood and might expresses a stronger
      sense of doubt.
     For Example:
The difference between "You may be right" and "You might be
right" is slight but not insignificant.
If I say you may be right about something, there is a higher degree
of probability that you are right than if I say you might be right.
