Rho Chapter ~ Syracuse University
Rho Chapter at Syracuse University is located at 901 Walnut Avenue.

Rho recently celebrated its 100th year on the Syracuse University campus.  The sisters of DG dedicated a statue on campus in honor of this milestone.  The statue is symbolically located between the Hall of Languages (the oldest building on campus and Huntington-Beard Crouse (one of the newest buildings on campus.)  The sisters also donated over $50,000 to the Delta Gamma Foundation, which is the largest, single donation ever to a foundation.

Currently, the sisters of DG are setting up a program to read to visually-impaired children.  Our annual walk-a-thon was held Homecoming Weekend.  The walk-a-thon is held to raise money for our foundation.  We are looking to make the walk-a-thon part of the Syracuse University Homecoming Tradition!  DG also participates in many philanthropies held by other sororities and fraternities.  We recently won SAE's Paddy Murphy, which was held to benefit the Syracuse University Rape Center.  Our Powderpuff team also made it to the championship round of the annual tournament!

For Halloween this year, the sisters of DG went to Aurora, a local agency dealing with the visually-impaired, and helped them put on a Halloween Party for the children.  All the sisters had an amazing time and made new friends.  We are now preparing for a Holiday Party with the children.

We are in the midst of elections and excited to see who our emerging leaders are!
