As for me, I was born in Memphis, TN, raised in a small town in the Mississippi delta. When I was a teenager, I couldn't wait to leave and "see the world". Joining the Air Force I did just that. During my four years with 'the force', I was stationed in Denver, CO, Northern CA, and Lakenheath Air Base in England. When I got out of service the plan was to go to college and come back in, at a higher rank, but somewhere 'the plan' got off track and I never went back. So, here I am x years later, back where I grew up, working in Greenville, living with two cats and a bird, keeping busy with my interests in falconry, gardening and cycling. (Other interests include, reading, watching movies, listening to music, and cruising the 'net.)
Lately I've been reading, mostly about religious issues and native american culture. Now that summer is here and the temps are going up, I'll focusing on indoor activiites, keeping the plants watered and getting out when cabing fever gets too much. It is nice sometimes just to sit back on the patio and enjoy the breeze. Now, if I can just get rid of those pesky mosquitoes!!
