Gold Logie Predictions For Delta
According to recent reports, Delta Goodrem is this year's hot
favourite to take out the 2004 Gold Logie for Most Popular
Australian Television Personality at the annual TV Week Logie
Awards. The multi-Platinum entertainer won last year's Most Popular
New Talent Award for her role as Nina Tucker on the Network Ten show
Neighbours and according to Logies organiser Peter Timms would be a
strong contender for this year's Gold adding that Kylie Minogue had
also won a Gold Logie at the height of her pop career.
"Delta Goodrem is favourite for the Gold Logie, for sure," Timms
said. "Put it this way, I would not like to bet against her. I think
Delta is an amazing human being who people just love. Because of her
well-publicised illness, she has not been on television or performed
in concert for some time now, yet she is still hot news. If she does
win the Gold Logie, she will be the youngest winner. She will be
five months younger than when Kylie won hers."
Voting for the 2004 TV Week Logie Awards has opened with the
