Hello Everyone , this is where I say I am so sorry it has been so long since I have been here, I have read lots of your messages and know how much support you have given me through this very exciting time, so a huge thankyou.
What can I say, such a hectic period but so wonderful, firstly the great instores getting to meet so many of you has been so amazing. Your generosity in spirit and the lovely gifts and my "Forum" flowers, it has all been unbelievable.
I must tell you how busy and crazy it has been, I wouldn't change anything except that I need a couple of extra hours sleep but it is all good. And I am saddened that the lovely letters and gifts I have received have not been acknowledged by me to you in letter form, so please accept my apologies and know that this is something that I am extremely concerned about and I am trying to get to. Time is the enemy in this. I am slowly chipping away at it.
Well lets rehash some great moments,Chadstone, Highpoint, Geelong and Eastlands, Miranda, Mt.Druitt and a great night at "Fox" rooftop. I still cannot believe how amazing these events were and how beautiful , supportive everyone was. I loved chatting to you all and it is sad that the instores are all over for the moment.
Perth was a lovely trip and everyone was so friendly, it was a lovely venue, and well worth the trip to meet all of you, I really hope to get back soon Thanks.
"Movie World on the Gold Coast" what a trip a full on day of interviews, signings and a perfrormance. Lovely friendly people and great venue set up, wasn't Austin funny!!! Would love to get to Brisbane next time I know that lots of people couldn't get to the coast.
Across to Adelaide, Lovely "Heaven" nightclub for a fun performance very relaxed and again so friendly.
Thankyou for all your beautiful chats and for making me feel such a part of your lives. I enjoy hearing about your family and friends and what my music means to you.
Thankyou for the amazing presents, cards and letters I know so much thought has gone into them and each one represents a special moment.
Now for the big WOW thankyou , thankyou, thankyou for all the amazing support in getting my album to No 1 the first week, I know how you all encouraged each other to pre order and to make sure you all had a copy the first week, you made it happen for me ,I hope you have enjoyed the music, please know I appreciate how much you have put into this. 5 weeks later I have to pinch myself to make sure it is real that it is still no.1. I was so tired the first time it hit No. 1 i hugged mum we turned off all the phones and went to bed. I think you all had a bigger party than I did!!!
Please accept my appreciation to everyone that has lined up to meet me at all the above events I know how long some of you waited and how tedious it must have been but you all made it so special by doing so and I hope that you weren't dissapointed, I know it was a bit manic at times.
Good Friday was fun, and the "Panel" tonight a bit nerve wracking but I got through it and everyone there was great.
I have a lot more travelling to go this year and hope I will get to meet you again and to meet lots of new people as well.
Thankyou for voting for me for the "Logies " I know it must have been you! and all the comps and radio that you tirelessly work towards both here and the UK it has really made a huge difference.
Just one more note to say how amazing you all are here, your support and positive attitude never ceases to amaze me. If I have had a bad day and things are not quite what they should be, I come and have a look at you all interacting and being supportive of me and each other. That is quite an amazing thing, that at the end of the day you can all say that you a have done something nice for someone else. You encourage each other and welcome new members with open arms. Thankyou for this, and for being you.
Must get to bed now have a 6am start but couldn'let another day go by without saying hello.(crossed fingers this works) Love and best of everything to everyone.
