Hi Everyone, It is great to be home, I had a wonderful and busy trip and met some very special people, and visited some great places along the way.
Hope you are all well, I know you have been so busy here, thankyou for all your voting and keeping each other company and for the great support and messages you have left me over the last couple of weeks.
I am sorry I have not been here sooner but I have been checking out what has been happening and Steve has kept me up to date.
It was a very busy trip I did not have one full day off, but it was worth it. The UK was great, loved being on Top Of The Pops again fantastic experience and great people there, as you know I did lots of other shows, they are all different but special in there own ways, I did like being Scooby Doo and a Tree!!! and yes I did perform live on the Saturday show and there was problems with my piano keyboard, but it all turned out okay.Nottingham was amazing and thankyou to everyone there who came out and who voted for me on the GWR network, it was so much fun and I loved performing there, everyone was so vocal and friendly, just great. Had a great trip to Bristol, Glasgow was fun except that we were evacuated at 3.30am because of a fire alarm so here is Delta out in the street with hundreds of people in her dressing gown, no shoes not a good idea a little chilly.But it was all good and we went back in about 4.30 after photos with the fire trucks etc, very tired that night after an early morning start for the Saturday show. One highlight was meeting scottishdeltafan, and friends thankyou so much for visiting me and saying goodbye at the airport and to everyone else for coming to see me there, it was great I now have a lovely scottish key ring thanks girls!!! A big thankyou to Eloise for annoying all the radio stations (sorry they hang up on you!) I do appreciate your help it is a very hard place to get my type of music played. Thankyou to everyone else in the UK for your amazing support with voting, Core and the Box and everwhere else you have certainly given me a fighting chance for the charts. For keeping everyone posted on the Uk info and for putting photos and links up so quickly it is amazing. It was nice to receive email questions from familiar names for BBC on line interview eg Mighty Max! thankyou to everyone involved.
A big apology to everyone that could not get sufficient information re my UK and European schedule, a lot of things and schedules changed hourly, so next trip which is in Sept. I will try and make sure we have a meet and greet and /or instore and have it organised well before I leave here. I am really looking forward to getting this right hope everyone doesn't have exams then.Good Luck to everyone sitting exams now. Posters , have enquired re UK posters will let you know what we can do.
Back to my trip Dublin wow very friendly and great place sorry I was only there for such a short time.
I certainly hope I can spend more time next trip. Oliver thankyou for all your help I will be calling on your help to organise meet ups next time, if that is ok.
Amsterdam. Oslo, Berlin and Zurich all beautiful places and great people, very supportive of my music.
Just wanted to let you know that I took my books that you have made me with me on the trip, they were very inspirational and kept me company when I was tired etc Thankyou Layal and Tammy,Louis and Jana for putting them together with everyone.
Sorry I am getting tired went straight back to Neighbours this week and had a photo shoot today as well so very jetlagged off to Neighbours again tomorrow and some radio tomorrow night.
