Second day of being surrounded. This picture was sent to me by Ron Luks, the crew cheif of the downed chopper. After hitting the ground, Ron found out his primary MOS was GRUNT. Thanks Ron, for looking all these years and finding us.

A good man to have in the squad. His Mom wrote me letters and sent us lots of goodies. I will forever be thankful. Thank You Ken for being my brother.

This was me while in the Corps. I had finished four active years,'63-'67, and turned in my green active duty card and was issued this red reserve card and sent to the Marinc Corps Reserve Data Service Center, KC MO for two years '68-'69. Notice the P-38 on the dog tags. Without it, I would have starved
