Our first bake sale was a great success with the sale of 17 cakes!!!  Thanks to everyone who participated.  The best seller was the old Fashioned Pound Cake and Chocolate Cake. 

Thank you to Shoppers Food Warehouse at Potomac Yards who donated items for the bake sale, as well as Arlandra Moore-Carter who baked 5 cakes. Thank you to our top seller Delores Countee of Alexandria, VA.  Oh, and a big thank you to everyone who purchased a cake. Without you the success wouldn't be possible.

Also I just finished reading Mercedes Lackey's new book "Fortune's Fool".  It was awesome give it a try if you enjoy reworked fairytales.
