For example:
I mean really... "Oh! I guess I should take my keys OUT of the toaster.... Would that explain the
power outage??"
the toaster also said:
Caution: HOT
ummmm.... you think? it's only TOASTING muffins... does that not require heat? have they invented
a solar model of it that I haven't seen yet?
It makes me mad... and kind of depressed... I mean, we're paying for manufacturers to broadcast the
OBVIOUS to us...
But anyway.
I guess I shouldn't reprimand the companies that are only fighting back against the continuously litigious Americans that are making a killing in courtrooms all over the country. It's not their fault that in order to prevent a multi-million dollar lawsuit, they have to make the rest of the world feel like idiots. I guess the real problem is that this country(and the people
in it) have grown so accustomed and/or entranced with the idea of getting something for nothing. A hard days work isn't as respected as cheating the cable company out of $15 dollars a month... and that is just sad.
The toaster said, "warning- potential electric shock, keep metal objects out of the toaster"
(or something like that...)
and then there is always the famous hot coffee dispute... The McDonald's corporation was taken for millions by an unsuspecting victim of hot coffee...*sigh*
