THE SUN SIGNS

Most people will know their Zodiac Sign, which is actually their SUN SIGN. Sun Signs are the most popular form of Zodiac Astrology, but really are merely a very small fraction of the astrological influences on a person, as you will discover if you have had your birth chart (natal chart) calculated.

Your Sun Sign represents the part of the Zodiac the Sun was passing through on the day that you were born. Sun Signs have a great significance on our personalities because the Sun is the Star of our Solar System, of which all the planets orbit, and therefore is an important influence. However, as I have mentioned above, there is a lot more going on with the planetary powers for each individual, and most of us are probably not aware of these subtle but important influences.

Sun Signs are the basis on which Astrologers cast Horoscopes, which are commonly found in magazines, newspapers and on many internet websites. However, they can not possibly be written to relate to each and every individual that falls under a particular Sun Sign, but they portray a general influence over that sign on a particular day, week, month etc.

Some people may also find that in some magazines they come under one sign, and a different sign in another source. This happens to those people who are born on the "cusp" of a Sign. If you fall on a cusp (the border between one sign and the following sign), you may not know which sign you are really under. Of course, it also depends on the time and place that you were born - this can make a big difference believe it or not. The only way to find out what your influences are is to have a full birth chart (natal chart) constructed.
