Hello from Brooklyn New York! Real original username I picked isn't it? Well I am a Brooklyn Girl and proud of it.

I was born in Brooklyn and have lived here most of my life(did a few years in Queens, but that's a long story). I'm a preschool special ed teacher, working with 3 and 4 year old developmentally delayed students. I've been a teacher for 20 years, and I love it, although there are times I want to throw in the towel and go be a travel agent or something.

I'm divorced, with no kids or pets. I have been seeing Gary for 6 months now..things are going very well, and although we are just taking it one day at a time, we really enjoy being together. I don't know what the future holds, but no one does, so I am just going to go day by day...

When I'm not working I love to read, travel, swim and do water aerobics. I'm also kind of a medical show aficionado and watch all the trauma shows on TV. That's because I'm still a frustrated doctor, although now I can't imagine wanting to do anything but teach.
