Arline (MEGAB402002)

Hi, I'm Arline and my forum ID is megab402002. I live in Florida on the Alabama/Fla line and have 4 kids plus a son-in-law and 2 grandbabies. My husband and I have been together for 18 years and have divorced/remarried, so you'd think we'd have it right by now. No such luck, though!

I love Florida, I live near the beach which is where I go when things feel out of control for me. Something about sitting on a deserted beach looking out on the horizon, that makes all our problems seem relatively small in the big scheme of things. This is where I feel closest to God, and somehow it's easier to talk with him, crazy I know but it works for me.

Right now I feel like alot of my life is in flux, my best friend moved to Orlando this past summer and I'll be moving down there after the school year gets out this year. I really miss her and we're like sisters but thank God for the internet and the phone! I have 2 kids who still live at home, so plans have to be formulated around them as they still have their futures to map out and it's my job to see they have every opportunity to do that. I'm very proud of both of them, as they are Honor students.

My dream is to travel someday when the kids are grown and on their own. I like the south and the warm weather so I'm leaning towards the Bahamas and Mexico. That's a start....
