Well, it goes like this. It all started in a band from way back far far away now, once called 50/50. It consisted pretty much of Derek H, Chris E, Zac M, and Kirk Z. They later changed their name to Pathagoreon Theorem...and then The Fingers if I remember correctly. That band soon broke up and Better Than Nothing was formed with somewhat of the same people - Derek, Chris, and sometimes Zac. Kirk went to a band called A.B.K.O.T. They broke up and he now plays bass for a band called Grimora. Delphi formed with Chris, Derek, Zac, and Ian H. Now the band consists of Chris, Zac, and Derek. (Throughout this time Chris E. took part in many bands because he is awesome like that) (Zacs memory)
Ok, this is how it all started. Way back in May, 2003, Zac, Kirk, myself, and Chris got together for a band thing called the fingers. We had our first practice and it was sweet. Zac played drums on a little bucket because none of us had a drumset. After practice we went to franklin park mall and chris jumped on some guys car, and he was still in the car. the huge dude got out and we thought we were gonna die, lol. but thats a different story.... Sometime over the summer of 2003, the fingers broke up. Then Chris and i started 50-50, and sometimes zac would jam with us. we recorded a couple songs, nothin big. then we kidna broke up cuz chris wanted to be in A Beautiful Kind Of Tradgedy (ABKOT). So he went off with Kirk and Chris capaul to be in ABKOT. then somethin happened during some abkot song at some concert ( i was outside, i dont really rememeber it that well) and thats when they broke up. Zac and i started jammin after this dude named TOM sold set 2 start a drum set. Then we invited ian over, then chris. we had our first practice as Delphi. We wrote 3 songs that day i think. hehe. I thought the chemistry was perfect, but then again im getting a C in chemistry. Ian quit about a week later. So now its Me, Zac, and chris in Delphi, but we still rock! (dereks memory)
Ok. This is the legacy of Delphi. It all started when this one girl named Daniel Zocowski met this guy named Kirk Zmejewski who was looking for an elite guitar player. She knew i was one of the better ones who's been in alot of bands, so she got me to meet kirk. Kirk Came to pick me up with this guy named zac morgan. I new right then as he was pullin in the driveway with his brown chevy this would be a long interesting path. I brought my fender twin and my sg with me and we jammed in kirk's basement. Things just worked. To sum it up a few practices later kirk invited derek huffman to come play with us and Kirk,Zac, Me, And derek where all in a band. The summer progressed and we never really did anything. The band disbaned. A few days later kirk had me meet some guy named Chris Capual and we formed A beutiful Kind Of Tradgedy. We rocked. In the back round i was still in a band with zach and derek called better than nothing. Better than nothing and Abkot played a show together and it rocked. My next and last show with abkot was rushed together. Tensions were high. And kirk was late. As always. Equipment was breaking and it was just to much. The bands that played that night rocked. We got up and played and we just didnt try our best. None of us was up to it anymore. I flipped out on kirk over the mic for messing up some of the songs horribly. I just didnt want to put up wit him being late all the time and his other crap anymore. The next day Capual and Kirk showed up to my house and we decided to take a break. I decided i was done. I knew all along kirk and capual would go off and do something. At the begging me and capual where going to go off and do something else if kirk was late one more time but it just works out better this way. I dont have to deal with kirk and capual is still with kirk's sister.Grimora i think they call it. I focused more on my lable than being in a band for awhile but i threw my original band AFMF (a few more flamers back together ) then derek huffman invited me to play bass for delphi and i liked derek and zac alot anyways and ian i didnt know but seems pretty cool. So yeah after the 3rd practice i think Ian left but delphi is still hitting strong.. (chris's memory) +++ UPDATE +++ Under most unwanted circumstances, kirk and chris are talking again! Maybe a Fingers Revival Cover band is soon to come ? WHO KNOWS! +++++++++
