Wynnum Manly Lota
This is a view of the water from my street. The street goes down a hill and at the bottom of the street, accross the road is a large park with tables, chairs and kids playground.
The picture to the right was taken while walking along the waterfront. It is a picture of the Wynnum-Manly Marina and shows some of the boats kept there. When the wind blows you can hear  the wind blowing through the poles on the boats, and because they are all different sizes you can hear many different sounds like music.
The picture on the left was taken down the waterfront, looking out to sea.
The length of the path along the waterfront is approximately 5km, and in one area they have added some stretching equipment to get you into shape first and warm up your muscles first.
The view you can see from the pathway is beautiful. You can see other Islands out there, and the one you can just about see in thie picture is St Helina Island where prisoners were kept many many years ago. It is now a tourist attraction and tourguides take visitors for a tour of the old ruins. You travel to and from the Island by a ferry, and you MUST be accompanied by a tourgide.
