This recipe has been served for decades in the Marquardt home! We all assumed that it was an old family recipe named after our ancestors, but Jean Marquardt got it out of the Rochester Democrat and Chronicle! Linda Marquardt is the family chef for this recipe, and reports that anyone she makes it for falls in love with it! One of her former boyfriends thought that the sauce's name was "Grandma's Legs", so that misnomer has been a longstanding family joke!
