951. Dorthy Delo

Dorothy was born in East Liverpool, Ohio. She married Daniel Stevens in 1952 in New Brighton, Pa. and had three children. After a divorce, she married George Donaghue (in 1962). There are now six children. The Donaghues lived in Rochester, New York.


953. Oakley Earl Delo

Okley Earl lived in E. Liverpool, Ohio with a family of four.

LEETONIA - Connie Sue Delo, 34, of Roberts Road, died at 9:15 a.m. Monday at her residence following a short illness.
Born in East Liverpool on Oct. 27, 1968, she was the daughter of Oakley Earl Delo, Sr. and Brenda Kay Cameron Delo of Leetonia, with whom she resided.
A lifelong resident of the area, she was a member of the Crestview High School Class of 1986 and the Jerusalem Lutheran Church of Columbiana.
In addition to her parents, her fiance, Ralph Lewis of Salem, survives.
Two sisters, Mrs. Edward (Tina) Fosnaught and Mrs. Keith (Tracy) Beatty; and a brother, Okley E. Delo, Jr., all of Leetonia, also survive.


961. Robert E Delo

Robert E. Delo, 85, of North Huntingdon, formerly of Delmont, died Thursday, July 21, 2005, in Baldock Health Care Centre, North Huntingdon. He was born Nov. 17, 1919, in Glassport, a son of the late Edward and Mabel Keyser Delo. Prior to his retirement, he was employed as an inspector for U.S. Steel in Duquesne and was a former bus driver for Gongaware Bus Lines. He was a member of the Community United Methodist Church, Harrison City; was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II; and was a member of the VFW in West Mifflin and the Manor American Legion Post 472. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Merle Delo; and a sister, Sarah Lowery. He is survived by his wife of 30 years, Mary A. Boggs Delo; three sons, Robert A. Delo Jr. and wife Anne, of Coulter, David Delo, of California, and Brian S. Delo and wife Tracey, of Greensburg; a stepson, Robert Sano and wife Erica, of Florence, Ky.; a daughter, Denise Thomas and husband Charles, of West Mifflin; a stepdaughter, Debora Wright and husband Steve, of Thousand Oaks, Calif.; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the JAMES E. LINDSAY FUNERAL HOME INC., 3343 Route 130, Harrison City. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in the funeral home with the Rev. Ronald J. Geisler officiating. Interment will follow in Penn-Lincoln Memorial Park, North Huntingdon. A Manor Legion service will be Sunday evening in the funeral home.


1265. Brenda Sue Delo

KENNERDELL - Brenda Sue Delo of Kennerdell and Andrew J. Ochs of Lucinda announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be, daughter of Paul R. and Nancy Delo of Kennerdell, is a 1987 graduate of Cranberry High School and a 1991 graduate of Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She is a registered medical coder at Clarion Medical Services.
The future groom, son of Carl F. and Delene Ochs of Lucinda, is a 1987 graduate of North Clarion High School and a 1990 graduate of NHLA Lumber Inspecting School . He is employed by Matson Lumber Company in Brookville.
A July 26, 2003 wedding at St. Joseph Church in Lucinda is planned.


990. John Patterson Deloe

Born in Dunkirk, New York, January 15, 1920, young John, with his mother, moved to Orlando, Florida in 1922. In late 1924, with his mother and father, he moved to Melbourne, Florida.
The trip from Orlando to Melbourne started early in the morning. John and a steamer trunk with other baggage in the back of the 1922 open Dodge turning car and his mother and father in the front. From Orlando we went south on a one lane brick highway to Kissimmee, then east through St. Cloud and Holeepaw to Dear Park. At Dear Park, because the bridge had not yet been completed across the St Johns River, the auto/w passengers was loaded onto flatcars of the Union Cyprus Railroad, a logging railroad between Hollaw and Hopkins. After crossing the St Johns River, the automobiles were off-loaded into a mud hole where they were chained together and pulled by a steel wheeled steam tractor to a point where the highway west of Melbourne had been completed. By now it was quite dark. With less than seven miles to go, we soon reached Melbourne and the rooming house run by Mr. and Mrs. Edge.

John was active in Boy Scouts all his life and became active in Power Squadron later in life. John graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in architecture. John and his father Earl had an architectural practiced until 1965 in Orlando, Florida. In 1965 the architectural office was closed when John develope cataracts and Earl retired. After cataract surgery, which left John blind in one eye, John took a job with the U.S. government in Atlanta, Georgia.
John De Loe married Anna Geraldine Graham on April 22, 1944 in Melbourne, Florida. Anna Geraldine Graham was born in New York, NY on April 30, 1923. John and Gerry had five children - John Patterson, Jr., Donna Jeanne, Michael Earl, Jeffery Hodge, Kimberly Anne and Bradford Kern.
John De Loe died March 4, 1997 in Orlando, Florida of lung cancer after a three week illness. Gerry passed away on December 8, 1997.

998. Lucy Zelda Delo

Lucy Zelda Delo Duckworth, 83 of Mineral Wells, died Jan. 13, 2000, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital. She was a daughter of the late Thomas and Mable Wires Delo. She worked at the FMC/Viscose for a short time. She was an avid homemaker, quilter, yard saler and flower lover. She is survived by five sons, Marvin, Ronald, Channing and Dale Duckworth of Mineral Wells and Leslie Duckworth of Elizabeth, one sister, Mary Admeskie of Bradenton, Fla.; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Carl Duckworth; three sisters, Bernice McCroskey, Ruth Full and Margaret Logue; one brother, Walter Delo; one grandson; and one daughter.


Clarence Albert Winans

Clarence Albert Winans, had 2 brothers, William Frederick Winans, Jr. and Everett Frederick Winans, and a sister, Grace Winifred Winans. Everett Frederick Winans was born 03/12/1914 (Birth Record Book # 2, Page 226) and Grace Winifred Winans was born 02/17/1924 (Birth Record Book # 4, Page 260) Everett Frederick, was married to Freda Mae Taggart and had 5 children . The children were: Norma Jean Winans born 06/24/1940 (Birth Book # 7, Page 85), Marvin Edward Winans born 05/13/1946 (Birth Book # 9, Page 115), Ina Winans born 10/08/1947 (Birth Book # 9, Page 601), Patricia Lou Winans born 03/21/1939 (Birth Book # 6, Page 261), and William Eugene Winans born 03/27/1938 (Birth Book # 6, Page 260) William Frederick Winans, Jr. married Lettie Pauline Knight and had a son, Robert Steven Winans born 06/21/1950 (Birth Book # 11, Page 332).


1025. Karl A Karg

Karl was born March 22, 1915, in Findlay to Karl A. and Ethel E. (Deloe) Karg. He married Evelyn B. Mack in Hamler, and she preceded him in death. He later married Carolyn Hardwick on July 9, 1982, and she survives.
Also surviving are a son, Karl A. III of Glen Ellyn, Ill.; a daughter, Kristin Ericson, Northville, Mich.; three stepdaughters, Lauree Miller, Leslee Heidlebaugh and Kelley Smith, all of Findlay; four grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
Mr. Karg retired as vice president of Associated Truck Line in the 1970s.
He was a member of Pheasants Forever, Elks Lodge 75, Findlay Country Club and Hancock Historical Museum. He was a former member of Northville and Cascade Country clubs, both in Michigan, and Meadowbrook Country Club, and was an honorary speaker of Detroit Traffic Club.
He was a 1936 graduate of Bowling Green State University, where he was a member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity.
