Elenor was born in Elmira and attended school there until she completed her bachelor's degree. She then attended the Univ. of Michigan where she received an MBA in 1931. She taught school until 1937, then went to New York City to work for the Irving Trust Co. for seven years. On December 27, 1943, she married Byron D. Paddock II (July 10, 1910 - June 20, 1966) of St. Louis. They returned to Elmira in 1944. After the death of her husband, Elenor was employed teaching and tutoring and iwas with PAL (Pupil Assistance in Learning).

Molly O. Delo, 87, of 323 Gurney Road, Franklin, died at 10:26 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, 2000, in Northwest Medical Center at Franklin. Born Oct. 30, 1912, in Franklin, she was a daughter of Elmer and Emma WALLS EVANS. She attended schools in Franklin. Mrs. Delo was retired from Polk Center. She was an active member of Christ United Methodist Church, Franklin, and the Rose Circle Sunday School Class and presently the Ever Ready Sunday School Class. Mrs. Delo also was a member of the Eastern Star and a 500 card club. She enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. Mrs. Delo was married Aug. 19, 1933, to John A. Delo, who died Oct. 7, 1964. Surviving are two daughters, Emma Jean KRUG and Mrs. David (Lou Marie) SHEARER, both of Franklin; a son, John Delo of Niles, Ohio; five grandchildren, Dale Krug and his wife, Diane, Daniel Krug and his wife, Ruth, Mrs. Pete (Darlene) SOTTIAUX, Daren Krug and John Shearer; and six great-grandchildren. She also is survived by a sister, Irene Evans of Franklin. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Delo was preceded in death by a sister, Ellen PHILLIPS; and two brothers, Dave GREGGS and John Greggs. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today in the Huff Chapel, 312 W. Park St. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday in Christ United Methodist Church with Dr. David A. Holste, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Franklin Cemetery. The family suggests donations be made to Christ United Methodist Church College Scholarship Fund, 1135 Buffalo St., Franklin, 16323.
